A Blessing of the Backpack is a special event where students, teachers, and school staff bring their backpacks to church to receive a prayer for a successful and safe school year. During this time, the congregation offers a blessing to all those who are preparing for the new academic year, asking for guidance, protection, and strength as they embark on their studies and work. This heartwarming ceremony encourages both the spiritual and emotional well-being of all involved.

This year, the Blessing of the Backpack will be held during the church service on August 17. All students, teachers, and school staff are invited to bring their backpacks for a special blessing as we pray for a wonderful and successful year ahead..

A Good Friday Walkthrough is an immersive and reflective experience that helps participants journey through the final hours of Jesus’ life before His resurrection. This type of event often includes different stations or scenes that depict key moments leading up to His crucifixion, offering an opportunity for reflection, prayer, and understanding of His sacrifice.

We will be filling shoeboxes to share with children around the world. Pamphlets and shoeboxes are available to guide you on what can and cannot be included. This is a wonderful opportunity to spread the love and hope of Jesus in a meaningful way. For many children, this program is often their first introduction to Jesus. Join us in making a difference!

During our service, we will honor the names of those who have passed between November 2023 and November 2024 by reading them aloud and lighting a candle in their memory. If you would like to include someone in this remembrance, please [insert instructions or details here].

Join us at our booth in Carroll, located between the Baptist church and the gazebo, for some delicious candy! We’ll also have a fun guessing game with a chance to win a prize. We can’t wait to see all your amazing costumes!
